Transfer admissions run on different rules
60 / 90
Semester or quarter units the University of California expects before you transfer as a junior.
College GPA
Past about 30 units, your college record outweighs high school. Under that, many schools still read your high school transcript closely.
Major prep
Schools that admit transfers by major look for prerequisite courses finished before you arrive, and crowded majors set a higher bar.
6 UC campuses
offer a Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) to eligible California community college students who file each September.

How the odds work
Transferly weighs your college GPA, units, major preparation, grade trend, activities and essays against each school's published transfer data: admit rate, admitted-GPA range where the school publishes one, unit minimums, residency and transfer-priority rules, and guarantee programs.
No prediction is perfect. Admissions readers see things a model can't, and a school's numbers shift from year to year. So every estimate comes with a likely range and a line-by-line account of what moved it, and every school page shows the year and source of its figures.
Background details you share, like being first-generation or a veteran, shape the guidance you get. They never lower an estimate.

Questions
Do test scores matter for transfers?
Rarely. Most colleges don't consider SAT or ACT scores for transfer applicants. A few still look at them, along with your high school record, if you'll have fewer than about 30 semester units when you apply. Transferly only uses them in that case.
Which schools are included?
75 colleges that receive many transfer applications, with figures from each school's Common Data Set or its system's published transfer reports. You can add any other school by hand with its transfer admit rate.
What do Safety, Match and Reach mean here?
Safety: about 75% or better, with the low end of the range still above 60%. Match: 40–75%. Reach: 15–40%. Long shot: under 15%. Any school that admits fewer than 15% of transfers counts as a reach for everyone, and Guaranteed is reserved for confirmed programs like an approved TAG.
Does the AI write my essays?
No. It reviews what you wrote, scores it, and points to specific sentences to fix. Activity rewrites stick to the facts you entered and mark missing numbers with [#] for you to fill in.
Where is my information stored?
In your account, where only you can read it. While you're signed in, your browser keeps a copy so pages open quickly; signing out removes it. You can download your data or delete your account on the Profile page.
